Emily Craddock

Emily Craddock is the founding partner of Craddock Law, PLLC. Prior to opening the firm, Emily practiced at a prestigious national family law firm where she practiced solely in the area of family law. Her current practice focuses on all aspects of family law.

Emily understands that the vast majority of her clients are in the midst of one of the most stressful times in their lives. Her clients value her advice, her ability to articulate clearly all possible solutions available, and her prompt responsiveness to any and all questions or concerns. Emily’s personal policy is that, for any given day, all clients receive a return call or email same day, so long as received prior to the close of business. Indeed, even after the close of business, Emily frequently is responding and speaking with clients to assist in mitigating client concerns and issues that arise during their family law matter.

Emily is an effective negotiator and advocate for her clients, both in and out of the courtroom. Emily is a fearless advocate for her clients, with experience attending court in all stages of the process. Emily is experienced in all family law matters, including but not limited to, divorce, custody, paternity, domestic violence, and contempt proceedings.

Coming from a family affected by divorce, Emily uses that experience to help her advocate for her clients because she understands first-hand the concerns and issues which arise in a family law matter.

Emily graduated cum laude from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, summa cum laude from the University of Louisville for her bachelor of science in Political Science. Emily is a member of the Kentucky bar, and a member of the American Association of Justice. Emily has been a Super Lawyers Rising Star for the last four years in a row.

Currently, Emily lives in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband, Nicholas Craddock, and their two young daughters.
